This program provides factual, non-judgmental information on HIV and AIDS prevention. Through a basic dissemination course, volunteers learn about sexually transmitted diseases, reproductive health, and how to reduce risks, empowering them with life-saving knowledge to protect themselves and others.
The other component of HASAP is Substance Abuse Prevention Education (SAPE). This module focuses on educating youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse, smoking, and alcohol. It provides a clear understanding of the health consequences, helping you make informed and healthy choices.
Armed with accurate information, HASAP equips you to become a powerful advocate for health in your community. You will be prepared to share your knowledge with your peers, helping to dispel myths and promote behaviors that lead to a healthier, safer generation.
